Lars Hollerer
Lars Hollerer was born in 1969 in Überlingen. Following a motorcycle accident in 1991, he became paralysed from the neck down and began painting with his mouth during rehabilitation.
He went on to study at the Free Academy of Art in Mühlhofen and joined the Mouth and Foot Painting Artists as a scholarship holder in 1999. He is now a full member.
Lars creates modern and abstract works, primarily in oil on canvas, sometimes incorporating ink. His landscapes and still lifes show influences of Cézanne and naïve art, while his figurative pieces explore a range of techniques.
