Riccardo Bossi

Riccardo Bossi was born in Trieste in 1977 and became tetraplegic following a motorbike accident in 2004. During rehabilitation, he began painting with his mouth, initially with hesitation, but soon discovering it as both a creative outlet and an important part of his personal recovery. After returning home, he continued developing his artistic practice through formal study and mentorship, later receiving a scholarship from the Mouth and Foot Painting Artists in 2007.

Riccardo’s work is deeply connected to emotion and personal expression, with each painting reflecting an inner dialogue translated through colour and movement. Guided by a range of artistic influences and techniques, his paintings explore feeling, energy and self-discovery through a highly personal visual style.
