Jin Hyun Song was born in Daegu, South Korea in 1968 — a chemistry graduate and army captain before a car accident in 1996 left him quadriplegic. In searching for a new direction, he was introduced to mouth painting by a fellow artist, later studying under artist Byun-du Bae. He has been supported by the Mouth and Foot Painting Artists since 2008 and became an Associate Member in 2011. Working in watercolour and oils, he draws particular inspiration from flowers and the landscapes of his homeland.
Nobleness is a study in intensity — roses, peonies and blooms rendered in deep reds, oranges, purples and gold against a dark background, painted with an expressive confidence that fills the frame. On a pillowcase, that same energy fills a bed. The premium linen-feel fabric has a satisfying weight and texture, the hidden zip keeps things tidy from every angle, and the print holds its richness wash after wash.
Pillowcase only — filling not included. Every purchase directly supports Jin Hyun Song and the MFPA's mission of financial independence for disabled artists worldwide.
