Grant Sharman has been painting with his mouth since 1980, and this is exactly the kind of subject he was made for. A classic Mercury Cougar, parked by the water, sun on the duco, the quiet promise of a long drive with nowhere urgent to be. Grant's realistic, finely observed style captures it perfectly: you can almost feel the warmth of the day.

He is a full member of the Mouth and Foot Painting Artists — an international organisation owned and controlled entirely by its disabled artist members.
