Tom Yendell OBE was born without arms as a result of thalidomide and from an early age learned to use his mouth, feet and chin for everyday tasks — including painting. He studied at Brighton College of Art, joined the Mouth and Foot Painting Artists in 1986, and is now a full member and President of the MFPA Board. Awarded an OBE in 2025 for his services to people with disabilities, Tom is one of the most celebrated artists in the organisation. His Teapots design is a perfect example of what makes his work so distinctive — precision, joy, and a confident command of colour and pattern that you want to keep looking at.
That pattern now wraps around a slender 500ml stainless steel water bottle built for daily life. Double-wall vacuum insulation keeps cold drinks cold and hot drinks hot for up to 6 hours, the leak-proof cap means it travels safely in any bag, and the slim profile slips easily into a cup holder or bottle pocket. A practical companion with a painting on it — and a natural match for the Teapots apron if you're looking for a gift set. Every purchase directly supports Tom and the MFPA's mission of financial independence for disabled artists worldwide.
