Itzhak Adir trained as an Air Force engineer before a serious injury at 24 left him permanently confined to a wheelchair. He rebuilt his life as a mouth painter — receiving a scholarship from the Mouth and Foot Painting Artists, graduating with honours from the Academy for Art Teachers in Ramat Hasharon, and becoming a full member. He works as a teacher and lecturer, developing courses on using art in rehabilitation. His Sea Horses — two seahorses rendered in flowing watercolour, curling toward each other in blues, greens, purples and orange — shows the refined, expressive colour work that has taken his still lifes and landscapes to international exhibitions.
That same painting wraps around a slender 500ml stainless steel water bottle built for daily use. Double-wall vacuum insulation keeps cold drinks cold and hot drinks hot for up to 6 hours, the leak-proof cap means you can toss it in a bag without a second thought, and the slim profile fits most cup holders and bottle pockets. A considered object to carry through the day. Every purchase directly supports Itzhak and the MFPA's mission of financial independence for disabled artists worldwide.
